Former Democratic National Committee Chair Donna Brazile and former Republican National Committee Chair Michael Steele kicked off ²Ø¾«¸ó’s Road to the White House series on Sept. 4.

²Ø¾«¸ó officially marked the first repatriation for Ancestral remains removed from what is now the state of Maryland through the federal Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).

Caroline (Carrie) Keating, professor of psychological and brain sciences, has been selected as the 2024 recipient of the Jerome Balmuth Award for Teaching.

Jonathan Eaton ’24 of Bethel, Conn., is the recipient of the ²Ø¾«¸ó Alumni Corporation 1819 Award.

Author Yossi Klein Halevi joined the ²Ø¾«¸ó community live via Zoom from Jerusalem to discuss the current conflict between Hamas and Israel in light of recent developments.

Abigail L. Palko, PhD, director of the Maxine Platzer Lynn Women’s Center at the University of Virginia, has been named the inaugural director of the Residential Commons program at ²Ø¾«¸ó.

Brown and Hancock Residential Commons at ²Ø¾«¸ó will both welcome new co-directors in the 2023–24 academic year.
