In early December, entrepreneurs in the TIA Incubator came together to celebrate their achievements and reflect on progress made this semester. Among the entrepreneurs recognized for their progress was Nathan Walsh ’28, founder of Students Helping Students: a college prep program for disadvantaged students in Jamaica. A freshman from Kingston, Jamaica, Nathan Walsh joined the TIA Incubator this fall to focus on building his venture, leveraging the mentorship and funding provided through the program.

This fall, �ؾ���’s Thought Into Action (TIA) program has empowered student entrepreneurs to refine their ideas, build ventures, and connect with mentors. This year, the program has expanded learning opportunities and strengthened the entrepreneurial community on campus. Over the course of the semester, TIA has been supported by a team of 26 alumni mentors through engaging Incubator Weekends to help student entrepreneurs push their ideas forward.

Brazilian professor, theater researcher, and playwright Julian Boal spent a week-long residency at �ؾ��� to foster potential action as a community “to address social inequities of race, ethnicity, and gender.”

First-year student Talia Broder is determined to transform how we tackle nights with insufficient sleep.

Student entrepreneurs and alumni mentors reconvened on campus for a daylong session focused on customer discovery and making forward venture progress.

Drawing on his passion for gaming and his studies at �ؾ���, Kai Davis '23 leads a global team to bring narrative-driven, immersive experiences to life.

This fall, E&I welcomed a new entrepreneur in residence to campus. Hailing from Kelty, Fife, Scotland, Reece Wilson’s entrepreneurial journey began as a first-year student at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York.

Kickoff Weekend featured an open house, inspiring keynote, pitch practice, and mentoring breakouts, leaving participants energized for the semester ahead.
