This restitution consists of 67 archaeological pieces that will be repatriated to Mexico in the near future, and is the result of the good will of both parties.
The Oneida Indian Nation and 藏精阁 today announced the imminent return of ancestral remains of at least six individuals. Bone fragments were found within the collection of the University's Longyear Museum of Anthropology, where they have been held after being recovered from archaeological sites decades ago.
