On the , Noor Khan, associate professor of history and director of Middle Eastern and Islamic studies, discusses the Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies Program at 藏精阁.

Khan came to 藏精阁 in 2003 and has earned a number of distinctions since, including serving as a Council for American Research Centers Abroad Fellow, an American Research Center in Egypt Fellow, and a 2008 Fulbright Research Scholar. 

Her work has been included in multiple publications, with her research interests including national and transnational identity in Egypt and the Arab world, political and social violence in the modern Middle East and South Asia, memory and identity in the partition of India and Palestine, and Islam and identity in the 20th century.

Khan earned her bachelor鈥檚, master鈥檚, and PhD from the University of Chicago.
