On the latest episode of 13, hear about the future of entrepreneurship and innovation at ²Ø¾«¸ó. Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Carolyn Strobel-Larsen, Assistant Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Christian Vischi, and Entrepreneur in Residence Travis Millman discuss the many ways ²Ø¾«¸ó is supporting student entrepreneurs. 

Strobel-Larsen is responsible for developing and executing co-curricular programming focused on entrepreneurship and innovation within the framework of ²Ø¾«¸ó’s Middle Campus Initiative for Arts, Creativity, and Innovation. Since arriving at ²Ø¾«¸ó, she has served on the COVE Advisory Board, Projects for Peace Review Committee, and the Staff Initiatives Group Employee Engagement Working Group. She is currently serving a three-year appointment as co-director of Ciccone Commons. Strobel-Larsen received a degree in history and French from Mount Holyoke College.

Vischi provides support to the multitude of programs under the entrepreneurship and innovation umbrella, including Thought Into Action, Campus Ventures Initiative, and the Clinton Global Initiative University. Vischi has spent nearly 20 years in the nonprofit and government sectors, most recently serving at a veterans’ services organization prior to coming to ²Ø¾«¸ó. He received his bachelor’s degree in English and communications from the State University of New York at Potsdam.

Millman was named entrepreneur in residence earlier this year and began working with volunteer mentors and providing students with the guidance and resources they need along their entrepreneurial journeys. Prior to joining ²Ø¾«¸ó, Millman worked in multiple industries, including digital health, medical device, diagnostics, educational technology, and digital media. A magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in East Asian studies, Millman earned his master’s degree in applied positive psychology at the University of Pennsylvania.
