Muslim Student Association plans banquet to celebrate Eid al-Adha holiday

Even with mid-term recess a couple days this week, there still is a  busy schedule of lectures, screenings, and celebrations.

If you’ve never been to a show at the Ho Tung Visualization Lab, now’s the time to start! Visit the visualization lab on Tuesday evening at 6:15 to see the waters of earth 80 billion years ago materialize above you during . At 7:15, learn about the legacy that Alexander the Great left behind in Alexandria, Egypt, centuries ago in . Stop by for a show or stay for the double-header; either way, you won’t regret your plans for the evening.

For a delicious lunch and a fiery discussion, head over to the garden level of  Memorial Chapel on Thursday at 12:15. As a part of the Heretics Lunch Series, Provost Doug Hicks will lead the discussion, “Do Religious Leaders Lead Differently than Political or Business Leaders?” To join the conversation, check out more info .

Love the outdoors? Join in Outdoor Education’s Enjoy nature and the night sky on Thursday as you paddle across Lake Moraine under the stars. All equipment will be provided to participants, and no experience is necessary.

On Friday, celebrate the holiday of Eid-al Adha. Join the Muslim Student Association for a Middle Eastern banquet and a performance of the Noor Ensemble. Festivities will take place in the Hall of Presidents, with dinner starting at 6 p.m.  and music at 7. Be sure to stop by to celebrate with friends. For more information, go .
