Members of the Class of 2009 will walk into Sanford Field House on Sunday as seniors and walk out as alumni after taking part in 藏精阁鈥檚 188th commencement exercises.
, nationally recognized for his pioneering work helping children and families in Harlem and as a passionate advocate for education reform, will deliver the keynote address.
The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are required for admittance to the field house, and guests need to be seated by 10 a.m.
For those without tickets, several locations on campus will offer live video streaming of the ceremony.
The rooms, which open at 8 a.m., are Golden Auditorium in Little Hall; the Hall of Presidents in James C. 藏精阁 Hall; and Brehmer Theater in the Dana Arts Center. (See the campus map for more information.)
Area residents can watch the ceremony on Time Warner Cable, Channel 99. Restaurants in Hamilton plan on showing the ceremony on cable TV, as well.
The ceremony also will be in its entirety and Twitter users can access the university鈥檚 for continuous updates throughout the day.
The commencement has additional information, along with a special Google map that shows where many seniors are going after graduation and what their plans are. The map includes video profiles and photos.
