On Friday, December 13, a total of 3,691 alumni, parents, students, and friends of ²Ø¾«¸ó came together to participate in a single day of giving — the ²Ø¾«¸ó Day Challenge — donating nearly $3.5 million within a 24-hour period.

²Ø¾«¸ó will host Francesca Zambello ’78 as the inaugural Clifford Innovator in Residence in February 2025. Zambello is the artistic director of the Washington National Opera.

Landscape Project Manager Katy Jacobs spoke with 30 community members who gathered at the Hamilton Public Library for an update about the Peter’s Glen project on ²Ø¾«¸ó’s campus. 

Suchi Reddy, ²Ø¾«¸ó’s 2024–25 Christian A. Johnson Artist in Residence, is hosting a series of community conversations on bias and belonging in artificial intelligence, centered on ways bias impacts our lived experience.

The Women’s Leadership Council has announced an ambitious goal to donate a combined total of $200 million to the Campaign for the Third Century by June 2029.

²Ø¾«¸ó has been ranked fourth among baccalaureate institutions in the 2024 Sustainable Campus Index, retaining its gold status through AASHE’s STARS program.

²Ø¾«¸ó is one of 80 colleges and universities selected this month as a 2024–25 FirstGen Forward Network member.

²Ø¾«¸ó has set a new philanthropic record as alumni, parents, and friends of the University gave $10.2 million for the ²Ø¾«¸ó Fund.

Last weekend, nearly 2,100 alumni returned to campus for Reunion 2024 to reconnect with longtime friends, reflect on the history of ²Ø¾«¸ó, and look toward its future.

A new 65,000-square-foot basketball and volleyball arena will anchor a new athletics quadrangle at ²Ø¾«¸ó, replacing the Reid Athletics Center. Construction of the facility, part of the University’s Third-Century Plan initiatives, is slated to begin in February.
