Dear Colleagues,
We write to invite you to apply for the (FSP) offered by . As you may be aware, every 藏精阁 faculty member has access to a wide array of resources for pre-tenure as well as tenured faculty that are available through our institutional membership with the NCFDD with no additional cost to faculty. The 12-week-long FSP is a more individualized and intensive online program that offers small-group career/writing coaching. The per-participant cost of the FSP is not included in our institutional membership and is available at a significant additional cost per faculty participant. This year, the Office of the Provost and Dean of the Faculty will support up to four 藏精阁 faculty members to participate in the FSP. At this time, only faculty at the associate professor rank are eligible to apply.
To apply for one of these slots, please submit an application to Tammy Still (tstill@colgate.edu) by Friday, May 31, 2024. Faculty will be notified by Monday, June 10. If you are awarded one of the slots, you may choose whether to enroll in the Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025 iteration of the FSP.
In your application (no more than two pages, single-spaced), please include:
- A brief description of the research or scholarly project on which you would be working during the FSP;
- A description of the NCFDD resources with which you have already engaged, and how you expect participating in the FSP would build on that experience;
- A list of courses taught and service done over the last two years;
- An explanation of why this is a good time in your career to engage in this type of intensive career and writing program.
